What you are hiring
Individual therapy for getting unstuck.
People usually come for anxiety, relationships, self-worth, emotional overwhelm, anxious attachment, codependency, or patterns of self-limitation. The deeper hire is this: I know something needs to change, and I do not know how to get myself unstuck.
The work is individual therapy: relational, experiential, and play-informed. We might talk. We might try a small experiment. There is psychoeducation when it actually helps, and a between-session practice that fits what we saw in the room, not a generic worksheet. We take your emotions seriously without treating them as the enemy.

The approach inside the hour
Playful, not fluffy.
Play creates room for curiosity and trying something different without needing to get it perfect. It does not mean we skip pain. Some of the most serious work happens when there is enough safety to experiment.
I keep coming back to a Solitaire metaphor: see the game you are playing, pick one card you can switch, watch the whole game move. You do not need the whole game figured out before you begin.

Who I want more of
Clients who will actually participate.
Curious. Self-aware. Willing to experiment. Ready to change how they relate to themselves, their emotions, and their relationships. Not looking for someone to tell them what to do.
I want to do less work that is only symptom management or "function better" without looking at the pattern underneath.
